Dr. Mangalika Rajasekara is a licensed and registered traditional Hela Wedakama and Shanthi Wedakama physician based in Ampitiya, Kandy, Sri Lanka. She holds a Diploma in Indigenous Medicine awarded by the Department of Ayurveda, Sri Lanka — the official government body regulating all traditional medicine under the Ayurveda Act. She is officially registered as a medical practitioner under registration number 08/12/kP/kd/107.
With over 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Rajasekara is one of the rare practitioners formally trained in both Hela Wedakama — Sri Lanka's ancient indigenous medicine — and Shanthi Wedakama, the sacred spiritual healing branch. She personally prepares every herbal medicine at the clinic using freshly sourced Sri Lankan medicinal plants, with no artificial additives, chemicals, or preservatives.
Recognised internationally at the SUNFO Global Summit & Diplomacy Award Ceremony as a Sustainability Icon, and honoured by the Central Province Women's Chamber of Small & Medium Commerce, she is also a Justice of the Peace (JP) for the Kandy District — a civic honour awarded by the Sri Lankan government for outstanding community service.
